The soul of every person who is born, (well, most people,* there are actually people born without souls,) but were not talking about that. Most people are born with a soul that was created by God in heaven.
Your soul was created in heaven by God before you were conceived. And during pregnancy, at some time, after conception, (that's a joke) your soul was put into your body by the miracle of birth by God. God put your soul into your body. Your soul that was in heaven. Your soul came from heaven and if God wanted your soul to return to heaven after you died , then it would. And that soul would be just like you are in the world. It would look the same and know primarily the same things. You as a soul would recognize people you know. Like family members and friends who are already in heaven.
