Disassociated Identity Disorder

  I was studying Disassociated Identity Disorder (Used to be called multiple personality disorder.)

  In the circumstance of the disorder being exploited in MK Ultra, I would say that the primary is sound used in scheduled aggravation and sleep deprivation.

  Sleep deprivation seems to trigger the response of other personalities surfacing. This accounts for the time losses. Amnesia in DID  is usually associated with current testing in clinical testing. Repeated trauma can also induce some forms of memory loss.

  People who were hypnotizable in clinical setting were also labeled as Morbid in traits. Stemming from pre existing mental illness such as bipolar or Schizophrenia and severe depression. This trait usually accompanied anxiety and in turn psychosis. Psychosis, left untreated can cause high levels of anxiety.
 
  Sleep disturbances can be as troubling as post traumatic stress disorder. Shock devices and remote lasers are used in a manner, it seems, to produce effect.

  Social segregation practices employed by extremists come into play.

   I would suggest that intelligence agencies also employ drugs to achieve desired effects.
